Current Projects

I’m currently working on a number of things, all reflecting and building on my 30+ years of professional experience working at the intersection of communities and their landscapes. These cover:

 

  1. the roles of communities in mountain sustainability and the management of mountain landscapes.
  2. the stories and experiences of the resilience of communities in and around protected areas (national parks, biosphere reserves and world heritage areas).
  3. specific ideas at the intersection of slow travel, resilient communities and resilient landscapes.
